Here is an update about the San Mateo County jail issue. It is covered by Shaun Bishop of the Bay Area News Group (Daily News), but I linked to it from the Mercury News.
Why?
Because the Daily News papers have horrible online versions that are un-linkable.
If I were Shaun Bishop I would complain to my bosses about this because it makes there stories less readable. If I were the publisher, I would get my money back for their new software and get back to an online publishing system that works like everyone else in the world.
