If you live (or park) in Burlingame, hold on to your wallets. The City is coming for your money on a number of fronts. A drainage fee may be on your local ballot in May and it could cost you up to $2,060. This is on top of the expected garbage rate increases...ouch...And if garbage and drainage wasn't enough, parking tickets in Burlingame are going to be more expensive too...
Coming on board just in time to deal with angry residents suing the the City for all of the rate/fee hikes, Burlingame names a new City Attorney -- Clark "Gus" Guinan.

And the other high-profile gun-fight/stand-off has a new twist. Relatives of the slain suspect are hiring a private investigator...the question is, are they hiring Spencer or Magnum? They aren't buying the police account of the events.

Menlo Park will get a new Mayor tonight as Heyward Robinson will take over. Rich Cline will become the Mayor Pro Tem.

Palo Alto put its own bike-sharing plan on hold in lieu of a more regional plan...
Palo Alto will conduct an audit to shed light on the racial profiling issue that caused its Police Chief's exit. The auditor gets paid $205/hour. Let's hope the audit doesn't take too long...
Two men from Milpitas died while fishing off Half Moon Bay last weekend.
Pacifica is putting together a new General Plan Committee. Watch Dog knows that doesn't sound that exciting, but have you ever sat through a General Plan Update? Heated. Really.
