Who says there are no drop-outs in Atherton?It seems one of the candidates for Atherton City Council dropped out of the race today. News is spreading fast, but Watch Dog seems to have the scoop -- or close to it.
You'll recall Watch Dog reported on this race earlier about one of the candidate's previous (broken) campaign promises -- but to refresh your memory, here are the candidates that will be listed on the ballot are:
- Kathy McKeithen (incumbent)
- Elizabeth Lewis
- Dick Moore
- David Henig
- Sam Goodman
The last name on the list -- Sam Goodman -- will be on the ballot, but he will (apparently) not be campaigning.
If anyone has the reasons that Mr. Goodman is giving, Watch Dog is all ears...
