Thorwaldson's (Un-)blog... 6 posts/2 years

Watch Dog would just like to point out that Jay Thorwaldson's blog (Thorwaldsan is the Editor of the Palo Alto Weekly) has not been updated since September 30th.

Today is October 20th. That's three weeks without a blog post.

But upon further investigation, Watch Dog realized that this absence of bloggy-ness is nothing new.

Here are his history of posts by date:

Tunneling the trains is not a new vision, Sept. 30, 2008
On hunting imaginary lions, July 22, 2008
A rare inside glimpse of a police investigation, June 3, 2008
The great water war of California Avenue?, May 30, 2008
Unraveling history's mysteries, building community memory, June 21, 2006 (not 2008)
Blogs, hm, seem a lot like conferences, May 30, 2006

Ironically, it seems, in his initial blog post in May 2006, he had this to say:
In this blog I will make some personal observations, provide historical anecdotes and tidbits from local history and make myself available to answer questions about the community -- which I began studying as something of a kid reporter in 1966. Every week, it seems, I discover something new about the community and its residents, mostly good, sometimes disappointing.
I guess the "every week" thing never really materialized. But hey, 6 posts in 2 years -- that ain't bad...unless you want to blog.

This might help you Mr. Thorwaldson. "Simply said...How to Blog..."
