You will remember that on September 19th Mark Hynes, the City Attorney of Atherton stepped down all of a sudden -- with not a really great explanation other than, "it's time."
At that time, Watch Dog predicted that not all was as it seemed. (Warning, the link to the story in the Redwood City Daily News from my post is screwed up because the Daily News screwed up their online services...as described/ranted about here.)
Well, the story seems to have taken another turn.
According to a spy, today's Daily Post reported that Mark Hynes signed a new contract with Atherton. What gives?
Instead of "it's time" referring to stepping down -- now "it's time" refers to getting a new contract... (Of course, the Daily Post also has no online version -- so no link, sorry.)
Both the spy and I are not sure what to make of this.
Any updates Atherton friends?
