That's seems to be what Legislators are saying in Sacramento.
As the world turns, as the budget doesn't get passed, as new taxes and fees are discussed, as robbery from local government is considered, Legislators are making tax-free money by way of a per diem.
The Governor called our the Legislature for getting paid a per diem this week at the same time that they aren't passing a budget.
