The Trash Saga Continues...

Redwood City approved the garbage company and the Shoreway building last night -- proposed increased rates and bond money included.

A Watch Dog aside: Why don't these bond dollars need to go to a vote? I follow this stuff pretty closely, but I haven't found this answer yet. Perhaps the good folks at the SBWMA have an answer they'd like to post here?

Was anyone at this Redwood City Council meeting? Watch Dog would be interested if any of Supervisor Jerry Hill's issues with the SBWMA came up on in the Council meeting.

In any event, it looks like the SBWMA, with the newly wrist-slapped Kevin McCarthy got what they wanted from Redwood City. According to today's story, the next step is each of the other cities need to approve the same thing.
